How do I change my name?

You can request to have your name updated by completing the Name Change Form.

Note: You will need to provide a photo of a Government-Issued ID, Driver’s License, Passport, or Marriage Certificate.

How do I change my email address?

Log in to My SOA.

Click My SOA/Log in at the top right hand corner and click Account.

Click Edit Contact Information.

Scroll down to the email address section. You can then edit an existing email, add a new email, or delete an email. There must be at least one email address on record.

When updating your address, please ensure that you check the “Primary” box to ensure your email saves successfully. 

How do I change my mailing address?

Log in to My SOA.

Click My SOA/Log in at the top right hand corner and click Account.

Click Edit Contact Information.

Scroll down to addresses. You can then edit an existing address, add a new address, or delete an address. There must be at least one address on record.

When updating your address, please ensure that you check the “Primary” box to ensure you address saves successfully. 

How do I add/update my employer?

Log in to My SOA

Click My SOA/Log in at the top right hand corner and click Account.

Click Edit Contact Information.

Scroll down to Primary Employer. From here you can delete the current employer, or you can add a new employer.

I have locked myself out of my account.

We’re sorry to hear! To unlock your account:

  • Go to SOA.org and click My SOA/Log in. 
  • Enter your username and password (even if you are unsure of what the password is).
  • If you are notified that you are locked out, click the link that is provided to change/reset your password.
  • Enter your primary email address.
  • You should get a link to update your password so you can continue.

If you do not receive a link or still cannot log in after changing your password, please reach out to Customer Service.

I am trying to create an account but I am getting a message that the account cannot be created.

The error message that you are seeing is due to the system not recognizing the mailing address you are entering. When trying to create your account, please be sure to spell out all of the words in your mailing address (street, not st., avenue, not ave., etc.).
 
If you still cannot proceed, please reach out to Customer Service with the following information:
